LATE NIGHTS OF ARSENALS Tuesday, 10 August Are there many films with no music, where just dialogs can be heard? Sound is equal or even superior compared to the picture in the majority of cinema productions. Arsenals has drawn attention to this phenomena since long ago, by sometimes even offering special musical programmes.
WARM-UP Friday, 10 September A week prior to the official Opening Ceremony of the IFF Arsenals, the Club will come forward with the latest up to date news on the festival.

BALTIC FILM COMPETITION AFTER-PARTY Wednesday, 22 September Despite the fact that DJ Oravs’s first public set at an illegal private party was interrupted by a raid of twenty armed cops, he decided to continue spinning records. DJ Oravs was the first Estonian DJ to introduce an audience to the mesmerizing sounds of drum & bass, and he still hasn’t forgotten the dynamic and fun-filled atmosphere of those early underground parties. He has played music at everything from wild raves to small, private events, and has warmed up groups like Koop in jazz festivals all over Europe.
When onstage, DJ Oravs merges completely with the music he plays – anyone who has ever seen this tall, thin young man’s crazy dancing behind the turntables can attest to this. There is room for everything in DJ Oravs’s music – dub and Detroit techno, black New York classics and West London rhythms. Oravs himself calls his music “eclectric”.
DJ Oravs will play together with DJ Drummie from the DJ collective “Supremesounds” at the opening ceremony of the Baltic Film Competition in the Arsenâls Club.
Tune it to Radio NABA (96.2 Fm) on Friday, September 24th at 20:00 to hear this special set by DJ Oravs and DJ Drummie.
